My Pooter is in the "Great Tech Hospital" across town..

Sheila and Todd came by tonight and took away my computer. It turns out Todd is something of a computer expert and has all kinds of things to fix it with. He used to do computer repair for the goverment. I'm feeling really confident that he is going to be able to fix it. He thinks he is also going to be able to save my files. It's a complex process of taking them off, putting them on another machine, fixing mine and then returning them.

I'm so excited!!!!!!

Hey...!

While I was browsing through my Xanga tracker, I noticed that people were coming to my Xanga via this blog. I clicked on it to check out who/what this was, and bam! Here I am. You gave me a surprisingly good amount of Xanga traffic when you posted about my Driver's License incident, and coincidentally, I am getting ready to re-launch my Blogspot site. I started it last summer as just a place to vent, but this time it's going to be a lot more.

Anyways, I was wondering if you could give me just a little plug...? You seem to have a pretty good readership here. I am tired of posting on Xanga so like 5 people will read it and then give me some BS comment about what they had for dinner...so I am moving on to bigger things. Any help would be appriciated.

I am re-launching next week.

Thanks! [Long comment, I know]

Correction.

Todd still supervises computer repair for a branch of the government. I'm so fortunate in my friends.

I, for one, like long comments, Rayke.

And that story about getting your drivers' license stuck in the CD player was damn funny.

Betty, I hope that your friend Todd can actually rescue your files. That's the important thing. If he seems confident, you probably have little to worry about.

But if he acts like the whole process is a pain in the can, then your computer will definitely be fixed.

I like long comments, too.
That was a funny story. I still laugh when I think about it. I know I've done stuff just as stupid and afterward just sat there and wondered, "What the hell did I do?"

Yep. Todd said it would be a long process. (most all day today, if it goes well) I'm just lucky his wife volunteered him. She's one of my critique partners and has a vested interest in getting me back up and functioning again.

I kind of just needed "a contact" so I could get started on making some "new friends" on here. Once I start my new site running, I'll probably use some of your friends as a stepping stone [because they definitely seem more down to Earth and intelligent than most of the blogs I have read on here] to get to even more intelligent and intresting people.

I don't really think that made sense...

Basically, I am going to use you and your friends to get myself started, if that's OK.

And yes, I am retarded.

Rayke,
You are a good fit with these folks. You are wanting to study journalism and writing and most of these people are writers of various genre.

Intelligent? Of course.
No brag. Just fact.
