My computer is still down.
It looks like I may lose everything on the hard drive. The only time I will be able to log on is when I borrow someone else's machine. Eventually, I'll be back. Until then, don't discuss anything fun.

Computer virus? Hardware damage?
I take it that your hard drive's too far gone for disc recovery software. It can take several thousand dollars to retrieve the information from a destoryed disc.
Here's to crossing my fingers in hopes that whatever it is can be solved quickly, and relatively painlessly.
I'll try to keep things as dull as possible until you get back, Betty. But... if something fun were to happe, I'll take notes. ;)
I am bleeding for you. This has happened to me, so I know what it's like. Horrible. Nightmare. Yikes!!

To use this laptop I have to lay on the floor in the game room and get carpet burn on my elbows. The dog can't figure out what the hell I'm doing down here. Her territory, not mine. Know what I mean.
