Rough Night
Had problems with my esophagus and stomach until 6 o’clock this morning.
I think the tube they put down my throat really messed something up. I had a lot of reflux and pain. Having trouble swallowing because it feels swollen.
Other than that and the resulting lack of sleep, I’m feeling fine. Tired. But fine. No pain except my throat and esophagus.

(((Betty))) I hope you feel better soon!
Betty, did you have an endoscope? Or is it endoscopy?
I'm supposed to schedule one myself and this does not sound fun.
Thanks for the positive thoughts.
Rinda, Endoscopy has to do with upper and lower digestive track testing. Ben gets the lower one done periodically and they knock him out. I've heard the upper can be done when you're awake, but I've never had one so I have no experience with it. They wanted to do one when I had the Esophagus spasum last Fall but I never got around to it. If I have another incident, I may have to do it.
The test I did have was a hysteroscopy. They go up into the uterus and examin the endometrium. (lining cells)
I'm sorry. I'm not much help.
When are you having this done?
Is it because of the stomach problem you've been treated for?
I hope you're doing better, Betty. Maybe tonight you can rest better.
