The nurse called.
The biopsy came back negative.
Negative is good.
It looks like I may be able to avoid the hysterectomy. The MD will phone sometime later today to schedule a combination D&C and endometrial ablation, both are a much simpler process.

My hubby just came home with flowers to celebrate. We both are feeling sort of like we dodged a bullet.
