Life

"Recognize that life is what you get when you’re born ...
living is what you do with it." -- Jim Allen

"It began in mystery, and it will end in mystery, but what a savage and beautiful country lies in between." -- Diane Ackerman

"If there is a sin against life, it consists perhaps not so much in despairing of life, as in hoping for another life, and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this life." -- Albert Camus

This post reminds me of something someone once told me. They said, "X, if you're afraid of dying, you're actually afraid of living."

The puritanical roots of our society might be partly responsible for our distrust of now and of life. Maybe it's time we outgrow those beliefs.
