Jenn's Car was Burgled Last Night
We know that her car and the neighbor's were both hit. We don't know how many other cars in the neighborhood were broken into. She'd left her purse in her car on the floor board. Credit cards, gas card, driver's license, cash, checkbook, and a sketch pad with all her recent art were all stolen. A purse and a tote bag - gone. Glove box emptied.
Jenn discovered it this morning at 6 a.m. when she was leaving for work. The police just left. It's left us all with sort of an adrenaline induced unsettled feeling.
Jeez.

Oh that's terrible :(

How frustrating! We've have similar problems over the last couple of years but nothing new since our truck was stolen in April. Thankfully we got it back. A neighborhood teenager was coming home after school and saw someone driving it and called my husband.
Maybe some of the items will turn up. Somethings can be replaced, with a lot of hassle, but not the artwork.
Sorry to hear that, Betty. Please extend my best to Jenn.
I can't think of anything else to say. It pains me to think that someone would do this to another human being.
Losing the art is the worst part. If they would just return that we would look the other way and not press charges or anything.
